A new brand for a new generation of healthcare professionals

Healthcare Academy of New Zealand (HANZ) aims to connect and educate the next generation of aspiring healthcare professionals. A brand new school and part of New Zealand’s leading and largest independent tertiary education group.

Unsworth Shepherd alongside Coles & Co helped to define the brand and create a complete identity system. The Poutama used in the shield device is a common pattern used throughout Māori weaving and artwork. It traditionally symbolises various levels of learning and achievement. This bold graphic style combined with striking colour and imagery helped define HANZ as a new and engaging offer in the healthcare education space.

Once this framework was in place, the creative was able to easily follow and get the Healthcare Academy of New Zealand project greenlight and full creative development through to launch, approved.”
